We know you work hard. Ready to play hard?
The Men’s Health URBANATHLON is back! Now in its 9th year, this series challenges you to set new personal standards for what it means to be fit. An obstacle course run with an urban theme, URBANATHLON will have you running stadium steps, swinging across monkey bars, jumping over barricades and taxicabs, and climbing over buses.
The URBANATHLON classic distance places 14 obstacles over a 10-12 mile distance to test your endurance, strength, mobility and pure toughness. Not quite ready to take on that challenge? No excuses, fit fam! This year, the series has added an all new sprint distance course, with 7 obstacles over 3-5 miles. Start with the sprint this fall and set your sights on the classic in 2015!
After you’ve navigated the urban playground, the fun rolls on at the Men’s Health URBANATHLON Festival. There will be DJ sets, food trucks, a beer garden (with one free beer for race participants), and tons of stuff from sponsors to demo, sample, and take home.
10.18 – Soldier Field, Chicago (hosted by Shaun T!)
10.25 – Citi Field, New York
