We all have a list.
A bucket list- of things we want to do, things we want to accomplish. Maybe you want to learn a language or visit the Grand Canyon… but of course, since we’re all fitness addicts around here, we made a fitness bucket list. And we can’t wait to start checking things off!
Here is our fitness bucket list for this summer, full of fun-focused activities- check it out and then let us know what’s on yours!
1. Rock Climbing
Grab your carabeners, we’re ready to take on Everest! Well, maybe we’ll start on a smaller scale- with rock climbing! There are plenty of indoor rock climbing facilities where you can safely scale walls and get a total body workout, all while having a good time. Who wants to race to the top?!
2. Stand Up Paddleboarding
Ahhh, to be out on the water, feeling the sun and the breeze, enjoying the outdoors, and paddling your way through nature. While stand up paddleboarding (SUP for short) might seem super relaxing and peaceful, we know that paddling does wonders for our chest and back, and your core and balance is sure to be tested as you stay upright on the moving water. Go ahead and start a splash war if you’re feeling daring.
3. Run a Color Me Rad 5K
This run looks like the most fun we will ever have. And according to some of our Ambassadors, it really was!
It’s no secret I love to run and I REALLY love to race. I’m very competitive (with myself) but every once in awhile it’s nice to run just for fun. The Colour Me Rad 5K is perfect for that! – Kaella On the Run
We had a blast at Color Me Rad! My boys are already asking to do another one! – Road Runner Girl
It’s 3.1 miles of color bombs and fun, with 15 color stations throughout the race course – more than any other color run! Start out wearing a plain white tee and by the end you’ll be covered in color from head to toe. And it’s the biggest, baddest, raddest thing ever. And when you reach the finish line, yet another explosion of color comes as you toss your own color bombs into the air and revel in the rainbow dust. Sounds like a fairytale, but this is real life and we are excited to check it off of our list. Music, dancing, running, color bombs- it’s one big party that’s great for all ages!
4. Outdoor Yoga
After we’ve climbed, run and rowed, we will definitely need to stretch. And now that the sun is out and the birds are singing, we want to take our stretch sesh outside! There more and more outdoor yoga classes being offered and we are anxious to join the fun.
5. Play A Baseball Game
Baseball is the sport of summer, and we love getting a group together to play a game. It’s fun, it’s active, and it’s a much better way to spend a night with friends than sitting down at the movies. We can’t wait to break out the ol’ glove and knock a few out of the park!
