Light, flavorful, and perfect for summer! This Lemon Basil Tuna Quinoa Salad recipe is packed with protein and full of antioxidants for your body to enjoy.
My taste buds are very easily swayed by the seasons.
When the weather is warm and the sun is shining, I want light and refreshing foods, flavored with fresh herbs and bright citrus notes. This quinoa salad recipe satisfies all of the above and then some.
The “then some” is a huge helping of protein, omega-3s, antioxidants, and fiber. This combination of superfoods is a winner! It won’t weigh you down and it’s ideal for eating on the back porch while sitting in the sun – believe me, I’ve learned this from experience. Lots of research and development happening here. It’s a tough job.

I’ve gotta say, I’m a fan of tuna. But, I know it’s not everybody’s jam, so feel free to substitute shredded chicken, or make it vegan by using chickpeas! #MeatlessMonday is coming up, so why not? The bottom line is, make this recipe your own. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
