Have you spent any time outside today?
In today’s world, it can be so easy to stay indoors at a desk – or even in the gym – and forget to appreciate the amazing outdoors. It’s now the perfect time of year to venture outside and soak up some sun – not too hot, not too cold, but just right.
Did you know that spending time outdoors also has health benefits that you might be missing out on?
- Spending time in the sun helps you get your daily dose of vitamin D
- The outdoors can spur your creativity and make you more productive
- 20 minutes outside has the same effect on your energy as a cup of coffee
- Going outside helps promote healthy aging and longevity
Can you believe it’s as easy as going outside? That’s why we’re challenging you and the rest of the FitFluential community to GET OUTSIDE. For the month of September, we are going to spend at least 10-15 minutes outdoors every day. This can be a walk, a run, or simply a power nap on the side porch.[clickToTweet tweet=”I’m joining the #FFChallenge and spending time outside every day during the month of September! Join me!” quote=”Tweet and tell your friends that you’re taking on this challenge during the month of September!”]
Don’t forget to put on sunscreen to protect your skin while outside!
This is a super simple challenge, but something we can so often forget to do. Make the effort to get outside and you’ll feel an amazing difference. Join in the #FFChallenge fun for a little extra accountability during this month!
