Hi everyone! I’ve had the opportunity through FitFluential to do a hands-on review of some awesome MostFit Products! Being a personal trainer & Strength/Conditioning Coach – utilizing quality tools like the MostFit products makes for a well-rounded training program for myself & my athletes.
MostFit is focused on creating and sharing affordable, efficient and accessible fitness equipment that empowers individuals to get stronger. MostFit is dedicated to promoting fitness throughout the community, as a means to health and happiness. Their goal is to make fitness enjoyable, accessible and realistic which is paramount to creating a healthy body image and ultimately, success.
I wanted to highlight each product I was able to try out then lead you into a video of exercises so YOU can see why these tools would make a great addition to your home gym or business.
Core Hammer: Let me tell you – this may be one of my new favorite tools for training! I am a huge fan of core strengthening movements because I believe having a strong core = a strong center for all of your training. The core hammer simulates a “sledgehammer” strike but has a ball on the end that can take the impact once hit off the ground.
My clients and I couldn’t wait to get our hands on this & they all did awesome with it! Once you go over the foundational movement with the strike, you can definitely work that into many other exercises like a burpee which you will see in the video below!
It gives you a sense of power & also works your core to stabilize the movement. Definitely a thumbs up in my book!
SYN Rings: Now these are pretty neat and something I’ve never used before. SYN rings are basically a strap that allows you to attach weights hanging off of your barbell. When the SYN rings are hooked up to weight plates, they require a stabalizing contraction from your muscles that adds some challenge to a normal movement like a squat, overhead press, or split squat (as you’ll see in the video below).
You just attach your weights to the strap and then attach the rings onto your barbell and secure them with clips.
I think these are a great way to incorporate balance & stability into your fitness or your clients fitness routine. I would personally start with a lighter weight to try it out & get the feel and then progress in small increments from there!
Suspension Straps: One of my favorite tools in my on-the-go gym! Suspension straps are my go to for bodyweight movements and can really progress your fitness level. I love using my own bodyweight to challenge myself and my athletes in a whole new way. I think using suspension straps helps you to make that “mind-muscle” connection where you can actually visualize the muscles you are using to create the exercise.
For example, a 2 arm row leaning back from the suspension straps allows you to visualize and feel your back muscles & arms pulling your own bodyweight up. MostFit has made their straps super affordable as well as being able to just fit securely in your door so you can really take them anywhere!
Resistance Tube: Gotta love Resistance tubes for a kick-butt travel accessory! I love bringing resistance tubes with me on trips in my suitcase since you can truly utilize them for so many different movements like rows, shoulder press (as you’ll see in the video), squats, bicep curls, tricep extensions, lateral raises, & more!
Resistance Loops: Love me some loops! MostFit has two different sizes of their full resistance bands and Loops that create one circle with no handles. These are also great for on-the-go as they fit into any bag, suitcase, or the MostFit Plyo Box!
The large resistance loop is great for mobility work (in the video below) to warm up and cool down with, use to wrap around a pull up bar for added support, or use as a resistance for your plyo box step ups (in the video below)! The small loop is great for around the ankles or thighs to create a resistance to your lateral or forward/backward movements.
MostFit Plyo Box & Caddy: a Personal Trainers best buddy! Not only can you utilize this wood box for plyometric movements like step ups, box jumps, & elevated mountain climbers – you can also flip the box over and it becomes your personal equipment caddy. Perfect for an on-the-go trainer like myself!
Below I’ve compiled a bunch of exercises that you can try out with the MostFit tools! My clients have been loving the new variations of training & I am a happy camper with my home gym! Thank you MostFit & FitFluential – you guys make an amazing fit pair!
