Let’s do 30 burpees a day, for the next 30 days.
What did you think I meant by “fun?”
In all seriousness, we’re ready to take on a new challenge, and we want you to join us!
After hearing about one woman’s idea to tackle 30 burpees a day for 15 days (and the results she saw from doing so), we got a little inspired. So we’re doing 30 burpees a day for 30 days, because I really enjoy the alliterative quality of 30 for 30. And also because why not try it for a whole month?! Let’s get crazy- because yes, you’d have to be a little bit crazy to take on this challenge. But before you start thinking about how many burpees that’s going to be (a total of 900, to be exact), don’t worry – we’re going to start small and work our way up.
3 sets of 10 burpees
2 sets of 15 burpees
1 set of 20, 1 set of 10 burpees
30 burpees unbroken
How to do a burpee:
- Begin in a standing position
- Place your hands on the ground and jump your feet back into a plank position
- Lower your chest all the way down to the floor, making full contact
- Push yourself back up to plank
- Jump your feet back up to your hands
- Explode off the ground into a vertical jump, raising your hands up overhead
That’s one rep!
Stick to the reps, and do them according to your ability every day! If that means doing sets of 5 instead of sets of 10, it’s all good! If that means doing 30 unbroken from day 1, that’s all good too! We just want to see you challenging yourself and enjoying (well, as much as you can enjoy burpees) moving a little bit more each day.Share with your friends!
