I can’t tell you how many times a grocery clerk has asked me how many kids I have. At first, I was rather puzzled by this question, but then understood why it’s legit. I’m the type of shopper whose cart is filled with fruit snacks, juice boxes, granola bars and ice cream – fitting for a family with young children.
But I need to be honest – I don’t have kids. I do, however, have a husband who eats like one. Therefore, I know a thing or two about how to satisfy a child’s palette. Trust me.
Not only can kids (or in my case, husbands) be picky eaters, but they often love foods that are high in sugar, salt and other unhealthy additives. So, for the past year or two I’ve switched up my game from buying processed foods to experimenting with fresh, healthy, and delicious recipes. From meals, snacks and desserts, we’re bringing you 15 kid-approved recipes!
