Meredith is a wife, mother, attorney, blogger (swim. bike. mom.) and nutcase who found triathlon by complete accident. She started to swim, bike and run her way off the couch over a year ago, and then decided she might do a race or two. After falling off her bike thousands of times and nearly dying in her first open water panic attack, she finished a Half-Ironman (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and half marathon) in Miami in October 2011 (at the speed of turtle). Her mantra: Just remember to keep moving forward, because no matter how slow you go, you’re still lapping everyone on the couch.
