Lisa is a mom who is also a runner, fitness enthusiast and coach.
Lisa is married and a stay-at-home mother to two children, ages 8 and 5. In 2006, after the birth of her youngest, she quit her job as an executive in order to focus on her family. Her transition to being at home was helped immensely when she discovered a mommy fitness group where she was able to get a good workout, spend time with other health-minded mothers and give her kids a wonderful social group. She discovered her latent passion for fitness.
In early 2008, Lisa took up running and started training for her first marathon. At forty years old, she was ready to “find herself,” and running unleashed her passion. She trained with her fellow moms and fell in love with running. Since that time, she has been certified as a Stroller Strides fitness instructor, Body Back coach and RRCA running coach.
She now owns the fitness company Mom to Marathon where she helps moms in Anaheim Hills, CA find their own passion for fitness and get their pre-baby bodies back. She has mentored numerous women to run their first 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and even trained and paced one woman to complete her first Marathon last year. Her clients have discovered that they are stronger than they ever imagined. They have lost many pounds and inches while working out in a fun, encouraging environment. Inspiring moms to change their lives has been one of the most rewarding things Lisa has done.
